DHA (docaxhexaeonic acid) is found in abundance in the cold waters of the deep sea fish salmon, mackerel, cod and sardines. DHA is an omega 3 fatty acid, components of fat or lipids that are beneficial to us and are called essential fatty acids (EFA’s).
